For more than 60 years Duresta has continued in the English tradition as makers of 'Country House' upholstery and have only ever used the best materials and traditional contstruction methods.
Each frame from Duresta is made from selected hardwoods, each being double or even triple dowelled, glued and screwed for a trouble free long life. The standard Duresta specification includes coil sprung seating with all fillings being fire free to meet the latest British Government safety regulations. Fabrics are sourced internationally to ensure the widest and most exclusive choice , then individually hand cut and expertly sewn, with valances hand slipstitched.
